This boutique coffee company has been providing coffee drinkers with morning bliss, a cup at a time since 2010. It was named by its founder after the Diving Duck Blues, a favorite of his, by Sleepy John Estes. The founder’s love for coffee is evident through the care and attention to detail when ordering, roasting and packaging our premium beans.
Following a couple of years of roasting, selling, and meticulous documentation, Diving Duck received USDA Organic Certification thus making it bothe the farthest north 100% organic and fair trade coffee roaster. Diving Duck roasts coffee in small 8 and 12 pound batches, using Sivetz air roasters.
Diving Duck has developed several blends including Chiaroscuro, UberNoir, Aurora Borealis Chena Blend, Winter Solstice, Summer Solstice, and the Stone Soup Blend which was developed specifically to benefit Breadline Inc.’s social enterprises such as Stone Soup Cafe. 100% of the net profit from the Stone Soup blend sales is donated to Breadline, Inc.

Diving Duck continues to provide premium coffees to coffee lovers everywhere, through direct and on-lines sales. Locally, it is available at select markets such as Sunshine Health Foods Fairbanks east and west locations, the Fairbanks Co-op Market and unique eating places like Wolf Run Restaurant, Go Wild Juicery, Diving Duck Cafe and Marlo’s Bakery. In the summers you will find us at the Farmers’ Market and the world famous Bun-on-the-Run food truck, and Diving Duck Plant Based Eatery & Deli.
